While other plugins like WP Rocket (premium) or Fast Velocity Minify are excellent alternatives, Autoptimize is a fantastic free option that offers robust features and fine-grained control, making it ideal for this safe tutorial.

If you had issues with JS optimization in step B, make sure "Optimize JavaScript Code" remains unchecked for now. If JS optimization worked, you can leave it checked.
Scroll down to the bottom and click "Save Changes and Empty Cache."
