Fortunately, there are lots of high-quality hotel booking plugins available. In this post, we’ll look at the best WordPress hotel booking plugins to help you get a head start on your next WordPress hotel website.

I’ve listed the best plugins to add booking features to your hotel website. As you could imagine, WordPress is an excellent platform to build websites for hotels and similar accommodations such as travel agencies, Airbnb, resorts, and lots more.

Some of the plugins are part of larger systems while others focus only on bookings. Some are simple while others are complex. Most have a free version and most have premium extensions or a pro version.

These plugins are not a turnkey solution to building a hotel website. You’ll need a few other elements for that. For example, you’ll need an awesome theme, a privacy policy, a payment gateway, email marketing, amazing SEO, and, of course, great hosting.

There are lots of booking plugins available for WordPress. All of them allow users to book a specific date and time. Many of them include options for the number of guests.

However, as seen in the list above, hotels require a lot more options that general booking plugins do not include. For example, the number of beds required or the ability to add a bed. I’ve included a few general booking plugins that are worth a look. I’ve placed them in a separate section after the hotel booking plugins.

Normally, I’d only include plugins with thousands of active installations as the number of installations does help tell the story of any WordPress plugin. However, there are fewer hotel websites powered by WordPress than in many other industries. With this in mind, I gave priority to features, reviews, and updates. I also gave priority to those made specifically for hotel booking rather than booking in general.

The WordPress hotel booking plugins are in no particular order.

1. Hotel Booking Lite

Hotel Booking Lite is the free version of the Hotel Booking Plugin from MotoPress. It includes unlimited rooms and lots of other rental properties. Include a description, photo gallery, amenities, services, bed types, max occupancy, and lots more. Visitors can search using the real-time availability form. The search algorithm recommends the best accommodations based on the number of guests. It has unlimited variables for rates based on the season, special dates, weekends, daily, weekly, etc. Payments are handled through PayPal or WooCommerce.

The pro version syncs with other calendars, includes more payment gateways, allows you to add reservations from the back end, lets you edit all the booking details, and has different prices based on the number of guests and nights.

2. WP Hotel Booking

WP Hotel Booking is a free hotel booking plugin with lots of free add-ons to expand it even further. Features include room management, bookings management, customer management, coupons, pricing plans, extra packages, block special dates, reports, multiple currencies, and several payment gateways. The payment gateways include offline payments and PayPal. It’s multi-lingual ready.

The free add-ons include the payment gateways Authorize.Net and Stripe, WooCommerce payments, statistics, and WPML.

3. VikBooking Hotel Booking Engine & PMS

VikBooking Hotel Booking Engine & PMS has both a free and a pro version. The free version includes custom rate plans with refundable, flexible, and non-refundable rates. It includes the management of rooms, room types, and sub-rooms. Other features include availability calendars with an occupancy overview, front-end customizations with 8 views, multiple pricing models including the number of guests, nights, and more. It’s Google Hotel Ads certified for free booking links.

The pro version adds seasonal rates, booking restrictions, custom gateways, customer management, statistics and reports, custom options, change rooms, electronic invoices, and several registration functions. The electronic invoices extendable framework is compliant with Italy and Greece. The registration functions include check-in, check-out, and no-show.

4. WP Hotelier

WP Hotelier is a free hotel booking plugin with lots of premium extensions available to expand it even further. Features include three booking modes, payments, advanced room settings, seasonal prices, non-cancelable and non-refundable options, coupons, room extras, and email notifications.

The premium extensions add lots of advanced features. They include pricing, Stripe, bank transfer, disable dates, extras, coupons, iCalendar importer/exporter, week bookings, calendar, flat deposit, minimum/maximum nights, and MailChimp.

5. Tourfic – Ultimate Hotel & Travel Booking

Tourfic – Ultimate Hotel & Travel Booking is based on WooCommerce and includes a free and pro version. This one might have the most features on the list. The free version has unlimited hotels but only provides up to 5 rooms. Set the price per room, display a gallery, show availability with AJAX, show reviews, includes features, FAQs, and conditions on a per-room basis, and show a wish list.

The pro version adds a per-room gallery with features, the number of rooms based on the date, and prices based on the number of people including children, room availability based on the date, prices based on the date, etc. It also includes advanced partial payments, dynamic location search, a map with popup, video, and an airport pickup service.

6. Jomres Hotel Booking Engine for WordPress

Jomres Hotel Booking Engine for WordPress is a free plugin that’s designed to build your own travel agency. It claims to be the most complete online booking engine for WordPress. It works with multiple properties and it’s multi-lingual. Features include Stripe, an elegant property list, guest and manager profiles, room types, property features, property type, reviews, and more.

All management is done from the front end, so managers won’t need to access the back end of the website. Lock rooms, blacklist, upsell extras, require a minimum of occupants, limit booking to certain rooms, upsell tours, and lots more. It has lots of property options, customizations, and admin tools. This one might have the most features in a free hotel booking plugin.

7. CultBooking Hotel Booking Engine & Channel Manager

CultBooking Hotel Booking Engine & Channel Manager is a booking and property management system. Manage unlimited properties, rooms, and beds. Create custom rate plans that are non-refundable, flexible, and last-minute. Set various pricing per occupancy, per day, and more. Other features include a smart calendar, extra services, multi-lingual, min and max stay periods, coupons and promo codes, children per room, etc.

Extra services include cleaning, parking, etc. Payment gateways include PayPal, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Klarna, etc. CultBooking is a certified Channel Manager provider, so it also includes channel management connections.

8. Beds24 Online Booking

Beds24 Online Booking is free but it requires a Beds24 account, which starts at around $10 per month. It features real-time bookings, customizable widgets, multiple rates, discounts, and online payments, and it is multilingual with over 30 languages. You can also sell extras such as tickets and tours.

It also includes a few special features for property managers and hotel groups. Features include an agency search box and subaccounts with access control. Manage multiple properties. It also includes lots of customizations and channel management.

9. Rise Hotel Booking

Rise Hotel Booking is a free booking management system that was designed by hoteliers to provide the specific features hoteliers need including a booking system that’s simple and easy to use. It works with any size hotel or resort. It integrates with Iyzico and Stripe for payments. Payment options allow visitors to pay offline and at check-in.

Set up pricing plans per room and per period. Close rooms for specific dates, provide coupon codes for specific dates, set custom rates, and send emails to the customer and hotel owner. The custom rates include meals. Set booking rates for refundable or non-refundable.

10. WP Travel Engine

WP Travel Engine is a free hotel booking plugin with lots of premium add-ons to expand it further. It was designed for travel booking websites that include itineraries and other options. Features include an itinerary builder, the ability to offer different packages based on groups or extras, etc. It supports several payment options and includes a guest dashboard with a review and social media system.

The extensions add features for the user experience, upsells, marketing, lead capture, conversion, and automation. Features include advanced search, smart booking, payment processing, a progress bar, email notifications, an inquiry form, coupons, galleries, maps, FAQs, sales pricing, and lots more.

These plugins were not designed specifically for hotels, but they do work for hotels. They might not include all the features needed or may require a little more work to set them up for a hotel.

eaSYNC Booking uses your PayPal Merchant Account for any type of online booking. It includes modules for hotel accommodations with an automated checkout date counter. It includes check-in and check-out dates, a room gallery, and room availability. Add room types, special request options, a thank you page, and get notifications through email.

WP Booking System – Booking Calendar was designed with rentals in mind, and it works great for all types of property rentals. Create unlimited booking calendars and forms, set a minimum number of days, include split days, block days automatically, and send booking notifications. It also includes user management and it’s WPML-ready.
